Phone service reception seems to work well on long distance calls but not for local calls. My local phone reception is horrible. Each call is dropped several times per call or there is so much static or echo, it makes cell phone communication impossible. I have changed phones with no benefit.
Cingular service does not work well in hilly wooded areas like Huntington, where I live. |

I think cingular is false advertising I get at least 18 dropped calls a day, further more I can see the cell towers right outside my livingroom window. Why is this happening? Don't know and apparently neither does cingular! |

Having been a loyal customer in New Jersey and South Carolina for many years I was some what taken back after renewing our contract with you. When we renewed we were assured that alot of new towers were being put up in the area and that our service would greatly improve! To be honest we were going to switch to another service because of the service problems but after being told of the new towers we stayed with Cingular. Upon having lost my phone and calling abouth a replacement phone I talked to a very nice and honest sales rep.of yours. I aked her about the new towers and when would they be in service and she told me that there were no new towers going to go into service in this area! Being disabled I depend on my cell phone alot! When I leave my house and walk 200ft. to the mail box I loose service and if I would keep walking away from the house I could regain service about 3 miles away on route 21. I find the sales teneck a little on the shaddy said using false promises of towers a discredit to your company and would ask that you inform hte sales people not to lie to get the sales. |

Cingular preaches fewer dropped calls, but that is false. Going back to Verizon they are definitely the better phone company. |

The "new" AT&T is horrible at service. Calls are dropped very (I do mean very) often. Customer service is the only thing worse than call clarity. Cingular was great. AT&T has made them bad, Very bad!!!! |

ever since att took over, the service is horrible, the dropp calls is awful, not to mention the echo, and statics. And att got nerves to request a high deposit for they horrible services, improve your service first and then you can ask for high deposit.ATT is the only company i know ask for high deposits, that is ridilous |

CINGULAR'S RECEPTION FOR THE MOST PART IS GREAT, BUT WHY DOES CINGULAR CHARGE SO MUCH FOR PHONES? I DON'T THINK YOU SHOULD HAVE TO WAIT FOR AN ELIGIBLE UPGRADE DATE TO BUY ANOTHER PHONE. THE PHONES SHOULDN'T BE SO HIGH! ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU'RE A LONG-TIME CUSTOMER! |

I am ok with them, the only thing I don't like is the static noise.
I also like the fact of getting some discount bc of being in the military. |

I have been with this company since it was BellSouth Mobility (so you know how long ago that was). I content with my service plan and the cell phones being offered until now. Since AT & T took over the business from Cingular, there are more dropped calls than ever before, the las phone purchased by myself and my mother (Nokia 6102i) has broken into two pieces with minimal usuage, and it is just ridiculous the high cost of phone being offered (especially to long time customers). It seems to me that attractive incentives should be given to to customers who have been with the compnay through the thick and thin. |

| I have never had a problem that they didn't rush to fix. Remember that the sales person ain a TRUE AT&T store just works for the company and doesn't make the rules and regulations. If you have a problem with the service and/or the company itself, contact the AT&T corporate office. These kids bust their behinds and get beat up over what the "corporate office" tells them they need to do. |

I think ringtones should not be locked to one phone if you have two phones on the same bill. Both phones should be able to share the ringtone you have paid for. I agree that you should get special pricing on phones without having to wait for the 2 years to expire. Don't fall for the deals that say no risk. I did that and two days later when I wanted to switch back to what I had they conveniently did not offer my old plan. Had I not taken the no risk deal I would have had my old plan! The Sony wlakman slider is a joke. Very few sim cards work in the three I have tried. |
