| I was notified by my credit card company of a charge by Classic Closeouts using an old credit card number. When I checked all the way back to January '08, I cannot find any order placed with them. I have e-mailed twice and called three times and left messages to get this straightened out.The recording says you will get a callback, but you don't. They haven't responded by e-mail or phone to any of my messages. Now I have to go through a lot of work with my credit card company to get this charge removed. |

| I am having the same problem as Priscilla. My credit card bill shows a charge from them and I have not purchased anything for awhile. My calls are not being returned either. So now I am dealing with the credit card company.

| It seems that a lot of people who have purchased from them in the past are being charged anywhere from $29.99-$79.99. I was charged $69.99 on July 4, 2008. I immediately called my credit card company and have already been credited back. After doing a bit of research online, it seems that this company has done this to a lot of people. Please, do not shop there! If you do, you risk having unauthorized charges on your card. |

I too have been recently charged by classic closeouts when I have not purchased anything from their company in over a year. My credit card company is on it though and will NOT charge me for a purchase I did not make. |

I HAVE CONTACTED MY BANK TO REISSUE MY CARD AND WILL BE CONTACTING NY BBB, THE NY ATTORNEY GENERAL ANDREW CUOMO, IC3.gov ALONG WITH ILLINOIS ATTORNEY GENERAL LISA MADIGAN ABOUT THE FRAUD. |

Add me to the list of bilked customers. I made a purchase from this site in 2006, they never deleted my credit card - and then debited 79.99 and 69.99 from my account in July and August. Please note the following from the FTC:
The FTC's Telemarketing Sales Rule became effective Dec. 31, 1995. In addition to prohibiting unauthorized debiting of consumers' checking accounts, the rule requires telemarketers to tell consumers before they begin their sales pitch that they're calling to sell something, the nature of the products or services they're selling, and the identity of the seller. The rule also prohibits a variety of misrepresentations and abusive practices. Violators are subject to civil penalties of up to $10,000 per violation, and the rule is enforceable by the FTC as well as each of the 50 state Attorneys General. The FTC adopted the rule pursuant to a statute passed by Congress in 1994.
Lets make sure that the FTC is aware of this fraudulent company, and shuts them down before they continue to bilk others who aren't as diligent about checking their accounts. |

I've never even purchased anything here & just got my credit card statement with 2 unauthorized charges to my account. 1st charge for $64.99 & 2nd charge for $79.99. | same thing going on as Phyllis states, we (my daughter and i)both ordered from them in 2006..now we are both finding itmes on our credit cards and on her debit card. I think this company should be reported to the higher ups. And oh yes the phone calls NEVER returned. American Express did remove the charges from my acct, 49.99 and 69.99. My daughter had to get a new debit card. |

| I have three unauthorized charges from Classic Closeouts, 59.99, 69.99, 69.99. One as recent as yesterday. I have canceled my debit card and my bank has started an investigation. I've only made one small purchase with CC about two years ago. My mom had the same thing happen to her a few weeks ago. PLEASE DO NOT SHOP WITH THEM. THE BARGAIN IS NOT WORTH IT. |

| I am another victim of fraudulent charge by this company. I made a small purchase in 2006 and now got an unauthorized charge on 7/9/08 for $69.99 and another charge on 8/9/08 for $79.99. I'm going through dispute with my credit card company. I e-mailed this merchant twice and called them twice and the e-mails plus phone calls all went unanswered. I hope I can get this resolved.
