  | | I bought platinum diamond stud earrings from Mondera via Amazon last week. Just two days ago they confirmed shipment of my 'white gold' diamond studs. I corrected them via email. No response. I called them and they advised me that if I wanted the platinum studs I would have to pay more. I emailed them my receipt that indicated platinum. They told me that they would not honor that receipt. I called Amazon, they said they would file a complaint against Mondera but otherwise could do nothing. An hour later, Amazon unilaterally cancelled my order against my express wishes to direct Mondera to give me the product I paid for. It was the classic bait and switch. If this had happened in a jewelry store I could have called the police. Unbelievable. Now it's less than week before Christmas and I am going to get shafted because I'll have to buy something last minute. These earrings were for my 82 year old mother. These people are liars and extortionists. It would be better if you bought from a guy in a raincoat on the street | | |
