I have always shopped for vitamins at Vitamin Shoppe, but recently there customer service is not good. I wanted to return a products and they told me I could not because it was past the date. Not good. |

VS prices are generally high compared to other online retailers. However, when they have sales and I use a coupon and get free shipping, the total price is more competitive. Their phone customer service is not so great however. I think in all my shopping experiences, I encounterered the worst customer service rep ever at VS. Another review mentioned being unhappy with VS's return policy. I think their policy is actually very customer friendly; you can return an item you are unhappy with up to 30 days from the shipping date. That seems like plenty of time to figure out if you like something or not. Also, you can return items to a retail location rather than shipping it back. Another plus with VS is that they participate in the Upromise program, so there is a kickback from each online order. Lastly, though it is great to get the things I order as quickly as possible; VS has a really wasteful shipping process. Rather than waiting until all or most items are available they'll ship part of the order one day, part the next and then another box the next day. I have even received two boxes on the same day with items from the same order. I've got to wonder what math "wiz" is running the show when I order four bottles of the same shampoo and get three in one box and one in another box (all by itself) delivered on the same day. Maybe that is why their regular prices are so high! It can't be good for the environment either with all that extra packaging. |

Lori is right - prices are higher here; best to wait for sales & coupons. My customer service experience was great! I made an order & used a coupon, then had to cancel a large portion of the order (3-4 bottles of a multi-vitamin) when I discovered I was allergic to some of the ingredients. They canceled that part of the order but let me keep the discount even though I no longer met the minimum order requirements! |

| I have just spent over an hour trying to order all the vitamins I needed and once again it does not go through! I love your vitamins (I can order Solgar) but your order process it EXTREMELY frustrating!! |

Their customer support is absolutely horrible at Vitamin Shoppe. Save your money and use other online sorces. Vitamin shoppe is not even the cheapest.
Bad service and expensive prices - what a combo!
Beware of giving your mank information to them online. Their service rep lied to me and charged my account. I called about this and they hung up on me. after 2 more calls they decided not to credit my bank account, but to give me an in-store credit. take you in-store credit Vit. Shoppe and ----Well, you know where you can stick it!! |

| It's been 3 weeks and still no order. They took almost 3 weeks to inform me there was a problem with my order, even though I have called and e-mailed them. Their information was via e-mail and was vague. I responded, and still no answer back from them. I know that some businesses drop the ball on customer service from time to time and it's an accident. This company has made it an art. Will I ever get my order??? |

The vitamin shoppe is nothing but an over priced warehouse. They claim to have 5000 products in their stores. Most of them are obscure things that collect dust. The West Madison store has a crazy older woman who thinks she knows more than she does - I don\'t go there when she is around - they really should get rid of her. Other online marketers (like vitacost.com) beat the vitamin shoppe by as much as $12-15 on some things. |

I think VS's prices are very high. Other on-line sellers are frequently $12-15 cheaper. Also a person who works at VS - west madison is extremely strange - I won't go their when she's working. |

| Bad service, shipping took 30 days for INSTOCK items. Beware, do not order items that you need fast. I recommend shopping in store instead of buying from this online source. Not recommended if you have any other alternative. |
