Buy her Jewelry on the cheap

At some point in time all men have to buy their girlfriend/wife a gift. Sometimes it is meant to show your love for her and other times it is meant to show how sorry you are for being a jerk. Whatever the reason, no gift says "I Love You" (or "I'm Sorry") quite like jewelry.

Well, our friends over at Ice.com are out to make all mens' lives easier by offering two elegant pieces of jewelry that won't make a big dent in your pocketbook. First off is this stunning 1/4 Carat Diamond Flower 14K White Gold Ring, originally $600 and now discounted to $295, but (as always) Cashbaq members get 10% cashback at Ice.com, making the final price $250.75

Desperate for Desperate Housewives

Who caught the season premiere of Desperate Housewives last Sunday? The question should be: who didn't? I was really looking forward to the new episodes, seeing that last season ended with such exciting loose ends. As always, Desperate Housewives didn't disappoint. You know it was only a matter of time before Susan figured out the connection between Mike and Zach. I loved that fantastic scene between Gaby and Carlos when they both realized that neither one of them is a very "decent" person. Watching Lynette "multitask" in her job interview was hilarious- hey, whatever gets the job done! Maybe most unforgettably, however, was Bree's "breakdown" at her husband's funeral. It was so powerful...and yet so like her, for better or worse. It was just a fantastic opening episode, really setting up the pieces for another great season.

It's been so long since season one, however, that now might be a good time to get yourself caught up on any of the storylines you might have missed. And for anyone who has no idea what I was just talking about, now is your chance to catch up to the rest of us: Desperate Housewives: Season 1 on DVD, now available at Best Buy! Even better, if you buy it now you will also get a free Desperate Housewives calendar! Not only will you get caught up on the episodes with the DVD, but the calendar will help you to never miss another one! ;)

As an additional bonus, there is a great deal for anyone interested in seeing what that other new phenomenal show is all about. What show is that? Lost, of course! Save $10 when you buy both Desperate Housewives: Season 1 and Lost: Season 1 on DVD. There is no better way to prepare for this year's fantastic TV season.

Funniest show on TV

Although I am certainly biased, many people would agree with me that Curb Your Enthusiasm is the funniest show on television (along with my other favorite, Arrested Development).

For those of you who haven't seen the show, Curb Your Enthusiasm centers around the life of wildly successful Seinfeld co-creator Larry David. Much like the premise of Seinfeld, this show is about "nothing" but instead of following around the lives of fictitious characters the audience instead follows David and his real-life friends. Regular characters include comedians Richard Lewis and Wanda Sykes, as well as other showbiz friends of Larry like Ted Danson, David Schwimmer and Mel Brooks.

Usually Larry's normal mundane routine somehow manages to get him into awkward situations where he ends up offending someone or infuriated them, making himself look like a complete jerk in the process. What contributes to the show's brilliance is the fact that all the dialog is improvised by the talented cast of Cheryl Hines (Larry's wife), Jeff Garlin (Larry's manager), Richard Lewis (himself) and Susie Essman (Jeff's wife). This always gives the show an authentic feel, as if you are really following Larry around in real-life.

To see what all the fuss is about you can order the first three seasons courtesy of our friends at Overstock.com for the low Cashbaq-only price of $83.91. Trust me, you are guaranteed to be laughing out loud at this smart and absurd show.

Thin is in

Americans are obsessed with being thin. We can't help it. We see thin models in magazines, TV and advertisments everywhere we look. TV and movies are contantly filled with thin beauties who always seem to look like the last thing they had to eat was a martini and a pack of Marlboro's. Maybe we should stop obsessing over how thin our waistlines are and focus our attention somewhere else...like our gadgets.

See, gadgets are gettin thinner, smaller and lighter, making them more stylish and portable than ever before. For music lovers the King of slim and stylish is Apple. Their new iPod nano is one of the thinnest and lightest players available. You can fit up to 1000 songs inside something as thin as a pencil, making it fit easily in your pocket or even around your neck. You can find it at etronics for $249.99, but don't forget that Cashbaq members receive an extra $7.50 cahsback, making the final price $242.49.

Big Savings at the Kohls 2-Day Sale

I just came across a fantastic 2-day sale at Kohls good this Friday and Saturday. The sale offers at least 50% off a variety of items, including luggage, tabletop, and decorative art. Anyone looking to move into a new place (college students?) or just desiring a new look to their home should definitely give it a perusal. What makes the sale even better is that we have the coupon code NEW4398 for an additional 10% off, turning an otherwise nice sale into a great one. Additionally, if you go through the Kohls link here at Cashbaq.com you get another 3% off. Add all that up, and it equals one fantastic sale.

Stylish jeans you can actually wear

Nowadays it's all the rage for ladies to wear a hip pair of jeans. More and more I see girls walking aroud town wearing designer jeans that must have cost them a fortune. Most of the girls I know spend between $100-185 on a typical pair of jeans, which just seems insane to me. And with jeans coming in so many more cuts and styles than ever before (stretch, low rise, boot cut, etc.), you can wear them for virtually any occassion, casual or dress-up. But why is it that all these designers make it so that women have to look like Victoria's Secret models to fit in to them? I mean, how many women really look like that anyway?

Today's Deal of the Day is for all the women with curves out there. Your friends at Lane Bryant have just the pair of jeans to make you look and feel sexy. These Clean-Waist jeans by Seven7 for all Mankind are just like the ones you see on the hips of models, actresses and trendy fashionistas, but now they are cut to fit the body of a normal (and healthy) looking woman.

The perfect gift for your man (part one)

With the holiday shopping frenzy now in full swing, the thought at the front of many shoppers' minds is "what do I get _____ for Christmas?" Or sometimes it sounds a bit more like "I have no $%&#@ clue what to get _____ for Christmas!" However it sounds in your own head, the point is that shopping during the holidays can be tough, even if you are looking for a gift for someone you know very well. If you are a woman or man (we don't descriminate here at Cashbaq) shopping for your husband/boyfriend, the pressure can be a little tougher during the holidays because you want to get him something thoughtful, but avoid the pitfalls of buying a cliched gift (like a necktie or cologne). Once again we are he
